MY PHILOSOPHY
“I had an early interest in music and audio production spurred while flipping through my parents vinyls as a kid and wondering,
"How did they get it to sound like that?!".
That magic of sound is what I aim to achieve with every project I work on. From the sound of a cicada in the evening to a squealing guitar solo, I just want to focus on sounds that tickle my brain.”
ABOUT MY WORK
Hello! I’m Rose! I’m currently working at Six Seven Eight Music (formerly Joff Bush Music) as a Producer & Studio Manager and am part of the “Bluey Music Team”. We also are working on a variety of compositional projects for Film and TV, album productions, and live performance.
I previously worked at Cutting Edge as a sound designer for short-form post-production content, lectured at SAE in Audio Production, and worked at West End record store Jet Black Cat Music. Over these roles I have done pretty much everything an audio engineer/project manager/sound designer can do to get across the variety of fields that are "‘audio” in 2026. As well as my standard 9-5 (or realistically 10-whenever), I work in and around Brisbane as a freelance Audio Engineer on many varied projects.
I love building my productions alongside artists and taking them through the development, recording, mixing and mastering stages.
In post-production I currently work mostly in a project management and sound design capacity for film and animation. I also enjoy working on games projects, creating all audio assets (foley, SFX, music and atmos) and implementing them via FMOD.
I also do all the backend work, such as developing copyright documentation and cue sheets for APRA, and general studio management and admin.

Current Project Showcase
I produced/project managed the latest Bluey album ‘Up Here’ with the Bluey Music Team, Queensland Symphony Orchestra and Camerata - Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra.
